The purpose of Agape Christian Mission is to live and preach the word of God in the country of Haiti.

We serve the communities with Agape Love and speak the wisdom of the Bible. We strive to meet the needs of the communities, including food/nutrition, health care and education with the primary goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We seek Haitian ministers to establish Christian village congregations. Our ultimate goal is to drive Satan from
Haiti and claim Haiti for Jesus Christ through the Christian baptism of the Haitian people.

Our HISTORY

The mission began in 1984 through the work of Delores Parker in the village of Dufially, Haiti. The initial emphasis was nutrition for the children who were dying from malnutrition. With the cooperation of the community, a health clinic/hospital was established that year.

In 1988, the Mission helped sponsor a school for children grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Delores helped incorporate Christianity into the curriculum, and also taught
at the school.

Thus far, the mission has served the nutrition, health care and education needs of three communities of 5,000 each. Currently, the schools have over 300 children enrolled.
In 2008, the mission received 4 acres of land in the Jacmel area where we have established a permanent compound for Agape. A church, school and medical clinic are now complete for the Bremen Community. the completed compound was dedicated in February of 2019 with over 3,000 worshipers in attendance.

The mission has two satellite churches with schools in the communities of Boucan Moran and Cote de Fer. These are building blocks of our goal to permeate the Southeastern Coast of Haiti with the Love of Jesus.

The mission continues to grow because of loving
commitment and support of concerned people willing to donate their prayers, time and resources to our cause.

The ministry of Agape is life changing to the villages we serve in Haiti. But the life changes go both ways. The lives of those working and serving with Agape on short term trips are forever changed by the people we serve in Haiti.

What We've done

  • Our mission has established a primary base compound in the village of Bremen, Haiti. It is located on the Southeastern coast of Haiti near a city called Jacmel.

  • The Bremen base compound has our largest church building (Hebron Church) and congregation. It also houses our free primary school called Agape Christian Academy. Both facilities are open and operational.

  • Our pastoral staff includes a primary Haitian Pastor for each of our three compounds. These Pastors are managed by our Haitian Coordinator/Director, Pastor Yves Regaillard. Currently we have 4 Senior Pastors and 10 Pastors in training to serve the cell churches that we are establishing along the southeastern coast.

  • Two of our developed Cell Churches are the Boucan Moran Church and School and the Cote de Fer Church and School. These cells are growing in congregation and school size. Both of these sites are within a 5 to 6 hour drive from our main compound at Bremen.

  • Our work continues to develop these cell churches and schools with the Haitian Senior Pastor assigned to the site as the primary communicator and director. These Senior Pastors are required to attend quarterly meetings with Coordinator/Director where reports from each site are reviewed and discussed. The next quarter planning goals for each site are set at this meeting.

  • Schools are free to any child and are open at our current three compound sites. Certified Haitian teachers are under the direction of a Headmaster who oversees the operation and certifications required by the Haitian Education Ministry. Schools are funded by Agape School Children Sponsors who offer monthly support for 1 or more children. Quarterly School Reports from the Headmaster are provided to the Haitian Coordinator/Director and sent to the Executive Director for Agape Christian Mission.

  • These reports are provided to the Agape Mission Executive Director for presentation to the Agape Board of Directors.
